problems with encryption software on Cruzer Edge USB

I recently purchased a 16gb SanDisk Cruzer Edge USB stick but I forgot my password (unfortunately I can’t figure it out even with the hint). I hadn’t really started to use it so I wasn’t worried about losing any data; as such, I formatted the USB stick with the intention of starting again from scratch. However, I’m now having trouble reinstalling the encryption software. I tried to download it from the website, and managed to do so (set up new password etc)… but the software isn’t actually saved on the stick. When I downloaded it I only had the option to ‘Run’ it rather than save it to a specific location.

Any advice on how to sort this would be very much appreciated :slight_smile:

Use Windows Explorer to copy the file from your C: drive to the USB drive, then run it.
