Are there any mp3 players that support mp3PRO and/or mp3HD? If not, can these formats, which are mp3 compatable, be added in the future?
I don’t think mp3pro decoders have been in portable players for many years. The format died a long time ago. Instead of MP3HD (which is probably also a dead format), most Sandisk players support FLAC. FLAC is similar but compresses better then MP3HD.
Is FLAC “compatable” with mp3?
Thanks.
Also, which players support FLAC?

No, it’s better. Comparable (in sound quality) with WAV, but in a smaller, compressed file size.
FLAC = Free Lossless Audio Codec.

Fuze (original) with updated firmware, Clip+, Fuze+, Clip Zip. Basically all the ones newer than the original Clip and e200 series.
FLAC has nothing to do with MP3. Its a different format.
