the player will come on but will not play songs. it shows the song title on the display screen but will not play songs.
the fm radio portion works but not the mp3.
i am having this exact same problem, and its really frustrating. does anyone know what the problem is?
Are the files in a format that is supported by the player? The Clip won’t play AAC or other proprietary Apple formats. If the files are protected wma, did you transfer them using a media player? If the licenses didn’t properly transfer to the player, then the player won’t play them.
If the files are mp3 files, then perhaps the tags are in a format incompatible with the Clip? Use a tag editor to examine and edit the tags.
