When I insert my 2 GB micro SD card in to my windows XP computer, Windows recognizes it as says I am using 756 MB of storage however when I browse the card It is blank. I have tried using other windows xp computers but still have the same result. Does this mean my photos and videos are lost? If not can some on help my get them back.
Hi, Use Card reader or your mobile and connect your memory card with your pc. Then do this: Open My Computer>>Tools>>Internet Options Then click on View Then select this option “Show Hidden Files or Folders” Then Uncheck these two options and click OK Hide Extension for known file types Hide protected operating system files(Recommended) Then check your memory card folders will be shown If that does not help then Download some data recovery software from net and scan using that. Data will be shown and you can copy it easily. If not then you need to format it.
