I’m really not computer knowledgeable, nor Sandisk.

When I insert a 2g cruzer micro in my old Win XP  it doesn’t auto install. It shows up on my computer however. It shows up as U3 System(D) and in device. Manager. As working properly

Removable disk ( G) If I open G it shows files I saved to the micro. If I db click U3 System it shows a # 0774110565D00E49. I have no idea in the world what to do now, so I am open to all and any suggestion anyone cares to offer including where to learn about sandisk drives

Don’t db click the U3 System any more.  :wink:

If the files on the G: drive are accessible use the USB drive as a normal, unsecured, flash drive.
