Latest firmware versions - m200

For firmwares with 1.x.x format

1.3.0 - latest

For firmwares with 2.x.x format

2.2.5 - latest

For firmwares with 3.x.x format

3.2.8 - latest

For firmwares with 4.x.x format

4.1.08 - latest

Just incase anyone was wondering, you cannot change your device version!

Please excuse the very basic question, but is the firmware upgrade for all players in the M200 series?  I’ve just purchased an M250 and would like to know if I should upgrade the firmware.  Thanks.

I recommend updating the firmware on your player. This could fix any issues that may be on an older version of the firmware. It is very simple using the Sansa Firmware Updater which can be found in the link below.

Basicly when you check your firmware its going to have a 1,2,3 or 4 in front of it. Once we find out which number it is (we can check it on the player itself on settings and info) we can look at the chart and check if the rest of the numbers match. If they do not, then we dont have the latest version of that firmware and an upgrade should be done.
