Is it possible to make it go from one album to the next?

Perhaps this is a built-in issue with the firmware, but I was wondering if there is any way to make my Fuze play the next album atomatically, given that I didn’t select “play all”. I have some albums that have weird tags, but I don’t want to click through 300 songs to get to the album I want to play. If I select an album that I want to play, it won’t go to the next one automatically, it just stops.

Anyone understand what I mean?

Would fixing your tags solve your problem?

I think you can add serveral albums to the go list and then start playing.

You could also retag your albums so that those albums you want to hear after each other have the same album tag. If you use the “disc number” tag, they will still be in the right order, but you won’t be able to jump to the next disc, without skipping all the song by hand.

I know no other solution to this.

Not really. If you change all your tages to one album I guess, but that defeats the purpose of haveing albums. What I do, is If I want to play by album and have multiple albums, I try and tag the Hits on a Greatest hits album by the band. So for instance The Beatles, I have most of my songs, tagged in either The Beatles1, The Beatles Anthology, and in this special case The White album. These three tags cover 95% of my Beatles songs, and the ones not in these tags are tagged like you would expect. Like Tape said, Use the Golist.

Select Album from Music menu.

Scroll to find an album you want to play.  Press and hold to add it to the go list.

Do this for each album you want to hear.

Then go to Playlists > Golist and play.

Turn off shuffle if you want the tracks to play in sequence.

When you are done you can clear the golist from the Playlist > Golist > Clear Go List
