Is it OK to pull loaded microSD card from my old Clip+ and insert it in a new Clip+?

The clip on my old 4GB Clip+ broke, so I pulled out an extra new Clip+ I’d squirrelled away just in case.

I have 2-3GB of music/word loaded on the microSD card in my old Clip+. Can I just take it out of the old Clip and put it in the new Clip, with all those files?  Will the new Clip+ recognize and categorize those files correctly?  Or do I first have to wipe the card clean and reload everything from my PC?

Swapping memory cards from one player to another will be fine. That’s the beauty of external memory cards in these devices.

Just remember to shut the player off before removing or inserting a card. :wink:
