i do that ? , note i have 2 sansa icon there, one called sansaclipz and one calle disque amovible(removable disk)  L, i choose which one ?

Yes, format the Sansaclipz. That’s the player. The other drive is the memory card slot. This appears whether there’s a card inserted or not.

Note formatting will erase all content you have put on the player, so you will have to transfer everything (music files, etc.) back to it afterwards.

That work thank’s

Can you believe that i just have same problem with the new Sansa Clip Zip Amazon send me again !!!

BTW few years ago i had same problem with Sansa CLip read here http://forums.sandisk.com/t5/Sansa-Clip-Zip/My-Sansa-Clip-Zip-don-t-work-anymore/td-p/277162

Ok after a nigh a charge it work again? i think there is a problem with battery who Stop totally without any message on Sansa product…

Whenever I get a new Sandisk player, before I add any songs on it, I format it via the player’s menu. I think at times the sample music  that comes on the player may be corrupted.

I seriously doubt that, but formatting is a quick and painless way of removing all the samples if you don’t want them.
