What is the format of these files? When selecting data recovery software, you should check whether the tool supports the file types you need to recover. Disk Drill only allows users to recover up to 500MB of data for free. Try a few free data recovery software options; they might work. You don’t have to worry about wasting money before they successfully recover your files.

Since Disk Drill hasn’t worked and Photoshop can’t recognize the files, you could try using alternative recovery tools like PhotoRec or Stellar Photo Recovery, which specialize in recovering and repairing image files. Additionally, check if the file extensions are correct or attempt opening them in different software like GIMP or IrfanView to see if it’s a format issue. If the files are corrupted, you could also try a tool like Stellar Repair for Photo software to repair damaged images.

Try to check if the files have the correct extensions like .jpg or .png. You can also try opening the images with viewers like IrfanView or XnView. If the files are damaged, use repair tool to repair them or use any recovery software for it.

Sometimes files can become corrupted during transfer from the SD card. If the data is still there but files are partially broken, use a different card reader or USB port.
Since Disk Drill didn’t work, a different recovery tool is worth trying. I would recommend Stellar Photo Recovery software for your images and photoshop files. You can also repair your corrupt files from this tool.

I suggest you calm down and check all your backup drives. If you don’t have a backup, try using some reliable data recovery software.

If that doesn’t work, consider reaching out to professional data recovery services. Just remember not to use the SD card for storing or transferring any new files until you’ve recovered the old data.
