Hey, SanDisk, Hows About A Waterproof Clip?

I bought my 2GB Clip mainly to use by/in the pool (with Zip-Lock bag waterproofing system, of course)…but man, would I love it i they made a waterproof Clip! Any chance of this happening? (There are no good waterproof MP3 players currently on the market).

The camcorder I recently bought comes in a waterproof model (I didn’t buy it though…don’t really need a waterproof camcorder)…why cant they make good MP3 players waterproof?

Just hope my Clip fares well come the warm weather…I’m pretty good at keeping stuff dry in the pool…(I’ve used other devices & haven’t ruined anything yet…)

You wiill need waterproof headphone/earphones too. it will be cool to have waterproof but I don’t think Sansa will put it into action though

they make those waterproof speakers that you can put the clip in the “safe zone” and blast your music away.

Yeah? Are they really loud enough to hear outside? (Most speakers I’ve seen are pathetic)////and pointers on what to look for and where?

i googled it. bose and cambridge soundworks are good ones that make outdoor speakers. i looked at stuff for the ipoop and here’s one that was interesting http://us.kensington.com/html/12642.html  you can’t throw it in the water though. if you take the baby ■■■■ out, gear.jeep.com has a bag with speakers when you go to the beach.

This post reminds me of my old bright yellow water resistant Sony boom box, tape player/radio from about 15 years ago…

here’s what i had in mind at first.  it’s big in comparision to the clip.

Cool (and should be, for $150–I think I could spend many times the price of an Apple player on all the accessories!).

edit:  And it would be cool to have a few accessories like this for the Clip–such as a waterproof case, which I would think would be easy enough to do, given the Clip’s small size (and iRiver had cases like that for certain of its players earlier), and a portable outdoor speaker with Clip enclosure.
