have a sandisk 120gig and intiially boot mng failed on disk so would not boot, now...

so i can use this drive as a secondary drive to access info off of it so the drive works.

i reformatted the ssd from the win 7 ultimate 64bit disk and windows created partitions. windows went thru all the steps to load files for new install and then a window came up stating the OS could not be installed on ssd.

crazy. I was given the SanDisk dashboard and all is working to normal standards. Firmwear is current. 104gigs free and 7.4gigs used. etc etc.

Any suggestions on what to do?

A friend told me i could reset the BIOS. Is this good?

Thanks,

CAP

Hello,

I suggesting format the SSD with Disk managment or Diskpart in order to clear all the partitions of the drive and then performa a clean installation of the Os with the actuall Windows CD. If that still does not work then the ssd seems to be defective and needs to be replaced.

In the case of the bios its always good to have the latest version of it so contact the manufacturer of the motherboard and get the latest update.

Good luck.
