To get videos on the Fuze, you must use the Sansa Media Converter to convert the video files you want on your Fuze. I don’t remember how you use the program, but it should be pretty easy to get used to.
You add the videos to the Fuze manually though, you can do that by going to My Computer, then click on Sansa Fuze, and Double click on Internal Memory, (unless you have a external card, you can access that too). Now, drag the video files that you converted into the video file, and then try it.

I seem to recall that the SMC put the videos onto the Fuze for you.
Thanks for the help. I have a video (it’s actually just of a man speaking). Would I need to rip it first? If so do you know of any free ripping software?

My Favorite Martian is correct. The Sansa Media Converter does the final conversion and transfer all at the same time.
And I say ‘final’ because 98% of the time, you need to use another conversion program first, to ‘convert’ it to a format that the SMC will then be able to convert.
So what file format does the video file have to be in order for SMC to convert it? I never relized that there were specific file formats that SMC could only convert.

Most of your standard video files are fine but when you get to files that are proprietary to programs or sites you run into some trouble.
Is there a way to change SMC options so that video converted is smaller? I find the videos it puts on my fuze are large compared to when I use programs like super with similar codecs/containers…
