I listen to a lot of continuous mix CD’s that I rip to MP3. I usually create a playlist, and with windows media player the songs all play back to back without any gaps between the songs. I notice my 4GB Clip leaves a 2-3 second gap when it moves between songs (playing from the playlist).
This something you guys might consider for future bug fixes if at all possible.
That’s not really a “bug”. The Clip doesn’t support gapless playback, but believe me, you are far from the first person to request it. Sandisk is aware of the demand for gapless, and it may be included in a future firmware update.
Alternative firmware Rockbox, being worked on at present, allows for gapless (or very close to it, in some cases), with MP3 VBR files.
