I “used” to be able to pause a file, jump to another to listen for awhile & then return to the first file & “resume playback”, even saving the pause points after being turned off & powered back on later. I did this mainly with audiobooks. Somewhow I have lost this ability…I reformatted the internal memory & add on card awhile back - I don’t know if this issue started then or not - I don’t believe it did…
I do have chapter mode turned “on”. Am I missing another setting someplace that will not hold the pause points for “resume playback”?
