You’re welcome

The way I connect my Fuze to the car stereo is with a Tape Deck Adapter. These may be advertised as being for CD Players, or for MP3 Players, or for both. It is basically a fake tape that you can insert into the car’s tape deck that has a wire coming from it that you can plug into the Fuze’s headphone jack.

As for docking it on the iPod station, don’t. The iPod and Fuze both use the same kind of plug, BUT the iPod uses more…the word “prongs” come to mind, but it’s probably the wrong word…than the Fuze (I think the iPod uses 42 and the Fuze uses 30), so you’d burn out the Fuze.

Tapeworm… would that be a standard 3.5mm plug style cable running from ear plug jack to car stereo MP3 jack… sorry… I know it was probably a basic question but not familiar with MP3 players ( I know that’s hard to believe in this day and age) …got this one for my wife… as I’m not an MP3 kinda guy… I hate ear buds!.. still in the dark ages… this dinosaur still listens to ‘albums’… oops… better make that CD’s

thanx again…

Pikidalto… appreciate that ‘docking’ info … many thanx

I much prefer to buy my music on CD myself. This way, in case I accidentally crash my computer or my hard disk fails or something or other, I still have my music. Of course, I could always buy MP3s and burn them to CD, but then I’d have to remember file names and type in everything when I go to rip the songs. Still, MP3s and (especially) Ogg Vorbis files are great, they make things easier (I don’t have to carry around all my CDs just to listen to my music). I love my Fuze almost as much as my girlfriend!

Yes, it is a 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm cable available and any number of consumer electronics stores. Most flat screen computer monitors seem to come with them too.

thanx for  that info…  appreciate it…

just wanted to thank all again … I got a 3.5mm cable at Wally World… plugged it in to my (wife’s) Fuze ear bud jack and into the Aux jack in my Avalanche’s stereo…  that did it… w*rks great thru the truck’s stereo…

thunbs up

I’ve got a Griffin Powerdock on the dash. Cable to the cigarette lighter socket for power and 3.5mm to RCA to the Aux on the car stereo. Does the job.
