I am trying to update my firmare, but nothing happens if I hold down (-) volume and insert my device into the USB port.  Otherwise it appears the device is working fine.  Is the an alternate way to doing this?

I have the Express 2GB and am running Windows Vista.

Explicitly change the default to MSC mode.

Once this is done, then run the firmware update.

One thing to note for anyone trying this. Be sure and continue to hold the VOL- button after plugged in until screen activates. Then you may release the button.
