Files on SD card are present on camera but won't load onto computer

Purchased a new 256GB Extreme Pro recently and formatted to camera before use. Now that I want to load my raw camera files to my computer I’m receiving an error message my computer cannot repair the disk. Some files are accessible while others are not. I’ve tried different card readers and another computer and the files are not visible at all. Again, the files are fully visible on the SD card when viewed on the camera. My computer is an iMacOS.

Hi @mlschreder

Have you opened a Support Case? If not opened, for more information, please contact the SD Technical Support team for best assistance and troubleshooting:

I have not. Thanks for the advise, I’ll open one.

I can recommend an article, that explains how you can fix the issues. Check here, Photos on SD card show on camera but not on PC

You can also update macOS and check whether the files appear afterward:
Open the Apple menu > About This Mac > Software Update, then click Update Now.

In addition, try the following steps:

1. Unhide the files on your SD card
Reinsert your SD card into your Mac, open Finder, and select the SD card from the left sidebar.
Press Shift + Command + Period (.) to show hidden files.

2. Use data recovery software to recover your missing files.

3. Run Disk Utility to repair your SD card.

4. Reformat the SD card to make it compatible with your Mac (only if the above methods don’t work, as reformatting will erase all data).
