I have an Ultra USB 3.0 64GB. Im trying to transfer a couple video files on to it. One is 53MB, the second is 6.2GB. An error keeps coming up that the file is too large for the USB. The USB is basically empty, what is going wrong?
hmmmm It would appear your drive is formated as FAT32 and that format only supports files sizes upto 4 GB. For larger files you need to reformat the drive as exFAT.
how do you reformat it to exFAT…
The issue is likely because your USB drive is formatted in FAT32, which has a file size limit of 4GB. To transfer the 6.2GB video, you need to reformat the drive to exFAT or NTFS, which support larger file sizes. Be sure to back up any data before reformatting the USB drive.

Your 64 GB USB drive should be formatted using the FAT32 file system. To check this, open This PC, locate your USB drive, right-click it, choose Properties, and view the File system listed under the General tab.
Keep in mind that FAT32 has a limitation: it cannot store individual files larger than 4 GB. For example, a 6.2 GB video file will need to be reduced in size through compression before copying it to the USB drive. Another option is to reformat the drive to a file system that allows larger files, such as NTFS or exFAT.

Your USB drive is formatted as FAT32, which can’t hold files larger than 4GB. Reformat to exFAT (or NTFS) and you’ll be able to copy the 6.2GB file with no issue.
