J’utilise à titre professionnel un Extreme Pro Portable SSD 1To en tant que photographe.
Hier je me suis rendu compte que j’ai des fichiers, de tous types mais essentiellement des photos, qui sont corrompus.
J’ai contacté le service technique, qui m’a demandé d’installer RescuePro Deluxe sans me préciser qu’il fallait le double d’espace disque de disponible soit 2To pour qu’il puisse aller au bout. Donc il s’est rapidement arrêté.
J’en ai besoin pour travailler.
Est-ce un problème connu sur ce modèle ?
Quelle solution proposez-vous ?

Use an original high-quality USB cable and run the chkdsk command in Windows to check and repair disk errors.
Do you recall which encryption method was used for this portable SSD? If it uses macOS native encryption (set up via Disk Utility), the system will prompt you for the drive’s specific password upon connection. If the password is incorrect, the volume will fail to mount in Disk Utility and won’t appear in Finder. However, if the SSD was encrypted using BitLocker (Windows), your Mac won’t recognize it natively; you would then need a third-party ‘BitLocker for Mac’ tool to access your data.
