Have a 6 month old 2TB Extreme drive on Windows 10 that keeps disconnecting during use. When it is there it is fast, but it causes file transfers to hang. I have looked on the forum and cannot find any solutions, I went through the knowledge base and have tried everything there. Do I just take this back to Costco?

Yes. Did all those steps. Plug a bunch of phones and tablets into this USB port as well, they never have any issues.
