express cache not able to install

i uninstalled the expresse cache because it was freezing on start up of winows. now i cannot reinstall the V1.3.1.

error message :failed installing SanDisk express cache drivers Error:2

i tried everything. uninstalling from control panel. deleting the registry ,deleting all the files from programm files related to express cache. nothing helps

I am not sure what is your current state, since you have manualy deleted files and registry keys.

In Programs and Features, there are 2 ExpressCache related installations:

ExpressCache and ExpressCacheApp.

You should uninstall ExpressCacheApp not ExpressCache. If you already uninstalled ExpressCache, you can do the following:

1. Remove the entire folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\SanDisk\ExpressCache (64bit) or C:\Program Files\SanDisk\ExpressCache (32bit system)

2. Open the registry and remove the entire key under SanDisk\ExpressCache

    It can be under LOCAL_MACHINE or CURRENT_USER

3. reboot and try to install again.

Let me know if that worked.

If you uninstalled ExpressCacheApp, you can try uninstalling ExpressCache and reboot.

Make sure folders and registry are clean before trying to install again.

million thanx!!! i dont know what went wrong the other times or what went right this time becuase the entire key was already uninstalled by me the previous time, as well as the entire folder in programm files,but it wotked.
