Basically, Sansa Updater s****, you have to do manual updating, which is why i recommend Sansa people remove Sansa Updater.

Agreed. If it worked most of the time for all but a few people, that would be one thing; but it appears that more than a few people are having issues with the updater. Just for fun, I tried using the updater yesterday with my new second fuze and I got an error code as well. The manual updating procedure is so easy, I don’t really see a compelling reason to keep the updater.
check the usb setting on your unit change it too MSC on Usb setting
