Drag & Drop Videos to Fuze in MSC mode (on a Mac)???

Hi,

Is it possible to drag and drop videos to the Fuze on a Mac when it is in MSC mode? It loads up instantly on my desktop, I open the folder, I open VIDEOS, I drop mp4 files into VIDEOS, the Fuze shows “Writing” on its screen, it returns to “Connected”, I disconnect the Fuze, I try to watch a video on the Fuze and all I can watch is the pre-loaded vids that came with the Fuze.

Any ideas for how I can actually put stuff I want to watch on it from my Mac?

Thanks,

Sam

I know I can do that on my PC.  In MSC mode I can just copy and paste my music in the music folder and it will work when I disconnect the Fuze.

So I assume it would work the same for the a Mac.  Did you use the video converter to convert your movie in the correct format?

The Sansa Video Converter software doesn’t work on Macs, and the drag & drop function works with mp3 files but not videos, as far as I can see. Anyone have any solutions?

Using Mac Dual Boot run a windows partition and run SMC.

Convert to appropriate Fuse compatible format using “ffmpegX”  found here:  http://homepage.mac.com/major4/

Haven’t tried it yet for a Fuze, but have used the app for other file conversions with no problems.
