I have a cruzer with U3 launchpad zip. I accidentally kicked it while crossing my legs and bent it while in the port. Now the computer does not recognize it, the U3 does not launch and I REALLY need the information on it. I have tried to launch the U3 manually and it comes up with nothing since it does read the disk. The zip does not light up when I place in the port. Can someone help me?
I think you need professional help from a local tech place. A contact may need to be soldered on.
Who (if you can even find someone willing to try it) will most likely charge you more then the flash drive and the data on it is worth. 
I think you better contact technicalsupport for this issue.
