Cruzer Micro 4GB - Problem Ejecting USB Mass Storage Device

When I click on the icon to “Safely Remove Hardware”, I get the following message…“The device ‘SanDisk U3 Cruzer Micro USB Device’ cannot be stopped because a program is still accessing it.” 

The problem is not with the USB because it ejects properly on other computers, except my own.   I use Windows XP.

How do I fix this problem so that I can safely remove the hardware?

Check your AntiVirus, check your FireWall, check your music sharing apps, etc.  There is a utility that will show you what apps are using a device unfortunately I don’t remember it’s name.  Hopefully someone reading this that remembers the utility’s name will post.
