Hello all,
I’ve recently purchased a Cruzer Blade 8GB Sandisk flash drive. I can’t seem to be able to set it to a FAT format - the only option I have in terms of choosing its format is FAT32. Is there any way to set it to FAT?
Thanks in advance,
Yotam.

If you purchased it new it is already formatted. You do not need to reformat it.
I want to set it to FAT because to my undestanding, the FAT32 format restricts the size of files I can copy to my flash drive. Is that true?

That is true, but so does FAT. FAT should be used on any drive or memory size 2GB and less. 4GB and larger get formatted as FAT32.
If you have a single file 4GB or larger and want to transfer it to your drive, you’ll need to format it as NTFS.
And could you please tell me how to do that? Because the only format option I have for my flash drive is FAT32.
You’ll have to use 3rd-party formatting software.
