i used it for a day and then the next day it stated it was not formatted and that it cannot be formatted. i have never seen this on my old one and i have uninstalled and reinstalled and i have no idea what to do. any advice.
if format fails it usually indicates the drive is bad and will need to be replaced. if you are within 30 days of the date of purchase i would suggest returning it to the place of purchase.
