clip zip question on noise feedback tween songs

is there any obvious cause for a burst of feedback between some songs and not others.  It is the

first sansa product I have had that seems to do this.  The sound is a short screech like a needle going across

a record, as loud as the volume of music, and maybe a 10th of a second in duration.These are files that

have been copied before on other sansa and apple players etc.

Noise between songs on Sandisk players might be due to having comments in your tags. Get rid of all  comments.

Most likely, the OP had the Zip’s original issued firmware, which had this issue.  The next firmware fixed this.

You say remove the comments from the TAGS?  Or get rid of all comments. I guess I need some help on how to do that?
