Took me a while to find why some of the audio books I upload to my Clip Jam player do not appear in it.
I’m using Album names in Hebrew.
Turns out that if there are multiple books (“Albums”) that start with the same Hebrew letter, the player will only show the first book(by lexicographic order), while the other books that start with the same letter will appear inside the first book.
Playing the book will then play the books interchangeably-
track1 from book 1
track 1 from book 2
track 2 from book 1
track 2 from book 2
and so on.
I’m using firmware 1.16
Is this a known issue?
Interestingly this issue did not exist when I used my old Sansa Clip+ player.
At least now that I understand what the bug is I can workaround it by changing the album name, previously it seemed random to me. Maybe this post will help others as well.
