When I plug in the player to charge, it immediately says “Charging Deferred” and it refuses to charge. Why? What do I need to do to get it to charge the battery? I have the latest firmware and have done several resets of the device. I checked all settings and no luck there. I left it plugged into USB power 20 hours straight and it didn’t charge. Do I just wait for it to completely run out battery and then hope it charges again? Yuck.
Please help.
