Can't read San Disk Extreme 16GB 120 MB's

I returned from Sri Lanka last night, downloaded my cards today.  I knew I had x1 memory card with my perfect day, light and moment on my trip. I saw the approx 600 photos, renamed the file to drag across to save to my hard drive and now they disappeared.  I can’t read anything on the card. I took it down to a store to check and he said it is corrupt.

Needless to say, I am so disappointed, upset and angry.

Can someone please advise if it is possible to retrieve photos from the memory cards? This was a card I use often.

in that case you can try the official rescue pro software that comes with a coupon with your extreme card as a first step to recover the photos from the card. 

if that does not work then you can also try some other softwares like recuva to recover the pics of the card
