Can't get music from a CD to the shaker.

My husband and I can’t for the life of us figure out how to get music from a CD on the shaker.  I think we have to convert the format from music file on the CD to MP3.  Please help ?  Where do I get this software to convert, if that’s what the problem is and why couldn’t the directions include that minor detail?

Hi Tapeworm just helped me. I hope it helps you.

If you have Windows Media Player. Go to tools.

-click on options

-click on the tab “rip music” 

-remove tick from copy right protect BUT REMEMBER TO TICK THIS AFTER YOU HAVE FINISHED ADDED MUSIC TO SD.

  • just above copy protect is format click on blue arrow drag down to mp3 or wma (Window media audio) - the file tye tape will tell you if your pc will do mp3 or wma. if it is not ticked then tick.

  • the go the slider kbps change bit rate to 256.

  • then click apply and close

  • go to rip on windows media player, put in cd - click on rip top line should read the name of cd.

-  rip music you need.

  • remove cd

  • click on sync attached ubs cable to sandisk add songs you want to sync list and click on start sync.
