Cannot transfer files, only photos and contacts.

I bought this so that I could transfer files from my iPhone or iPad onto my computers using USB and also to have an extra backup. When I use the app, I only see ‘Gallery’ and ‘Contacts’, no files. If I try in the ‘Files’ app and click ‘Share’ there are no options to move the file to the stick.

So it’s only supported on type-c connections, not on lightening? That should be made clear on the packaging.
