Sandisk Extreme portable SSD 1TB is not support by iXpand or Sandisk Memory zone

The iPhone 15 Pro which let go of lightening port and provides USB type-C does not work with USB type-C male to Lightening female adapter and fails to recognize the iXpand flip 128Gb flash drive that is documented to be supported at product compatibility matrix for SanDisk Memory Zone.

The SanDisk Memory Zone software also does not recognize the Sandisk Extreme portable SSD 1TB drive for the media backup. I have to do it manually selecting each media file and copying it on to the drive from the iPhone and then come back and delete it.

Are there any workarounds to get the iXpand app or the Sandisk Memory Zone app to recognize the Sandisk Extreme portable SSD 1TB in the Sandisk Memory Zone app?

Has the feature that supports Type-C usb iPhone been made generally available as yet?

Thank you @SBrown, I have just updated the OP based on the recent experience! Request you to share your views.

@unixdoc The issue is the USB-C to Lightening adapter which is not supported.

@SBrown thank you, will stop pursuit of trying to get the iXpand Flip working.
Any suggestions about getting the Extreme portable SSD of 1Tb to work with SanDisk Memory Zone software?

@unixdoc the Portable SSD is not supported by the Memory Zone app for iOS, but should be accessible using the iOS Files app.

It’s a bit tricky, but perhaps the issue might lie in the app’s compatibility or settings, though the Type-C support could be another factor. Have you tried resetting the app or checking for updates?
