Cannot Download ANYTHING!!!

I went to attempt to download SMC, but first, I need to install the firmware updatert. And when I hit Run, it instantly says No Internet Connection Detected On this Computer! I AM CLEARLY USING THE INTERNET NOW!!! I don’t see what the problem is. So I can’t get the SMC.

I downloaded other softwares to attempt to put videos on by brand new 8GB Fuze, all in vain. All the formats I tried are either unviewable or unsupported. I need some help, and assurance that my Fuze isn’t doomed to videolessness!

Sounds like your firewall is blocking the connection to the Updater server.

Guess so! What a waste of money!!!

There has to be a way around this. the firewall or whatever it is is turned off.

The way around it is, don’t install the stupid Updater and the crappy SMC. :wink:
