Can record, but cannot hear FM radio

I am unable to hear anything using the FM radio on my Sansa clip. I can however record the radio just fine and hear the recording. I am using firmware version 01.01.18A. Has anyone experienced something like this?

I formatted the clip and manually copied the firmware 01.01.18A .bin from the sansa forums. The problem is resolved.
