My Sandisk Sansa e280 locked up and needed to be reset. After the reset, all audio books downloaded from my library site would not transfer chapters in the proper sequence. This is especially difficult when driving to manually find the next chapter. Can anyone help?
Sometimes, the music database can get corrupted.
Try deleting the book from your device, then retransfer. It should return to the normal order.

Thanks for your response but unfortunately it didn’t work. I’ve downloaded several books since then and they all skip chapters. They seem to be properly located in the files in sequence. Any other suggestions?
The music database can get corrupted sometimes,try deleting some.My friend did this and luckily it worked.
