Its been more than two years since the Fuze, just wondering if Sandisk has gone the way of the dinosaur with MP3 players. I tend to doubt no one is going to really know anything though. There were rumors floating around a year ago about a possible touch screen player, but who really knows at this point?
Actually, the Clip+ was their last player, not the Fuze. But that kind of came out of the blue. They tend not to reveal much ahead of time.
I predict a SanPad, but that sounds like a hygiene product even more than the iPad.
It was reported a while back that Sansa had filed the copyright on the name the Sansa Tap. That was a while ago and we havent seen anything since then. I predict we see a new product or at least a new model in a current line (Fuze+ for instance) this fall just in time for the holiday season.
I would like to see a player larger than the Fuze with a nice screen, customizable audio enhancements (more than just a custom EQ), customizable background or UI, and a nice large album art display during music playback. Doesn’t sound too demanding, considering every other competing MP3 player, or PMP, whatever you want to call it, has these features or more.
If it means having a Sansa player with wifi, I’ll take a SanPad.

How about a Sansa Connect?

Not a new player, and the Wifi is basically useless now.
