32gb sandisk cruzer force is bricked or locked away! seems firmware flashing be needed

My sandisk flash drive 32GB cruzer force is write protected and locked. Any HDD partition tools or any USB drive tools cannot format or clean or handle it anyhow.`
below is :point_down: :point_down: my Windows 10 File Explorer detects it but no disk size shown

windows diskpart (admin) cannot solve it: it returns the clean command like this:

DISKPART> clean
DiskPart has encountered an error: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.

You have 2 options. This Warranty Replacement Process or return it to the seller should work.

but the return policy process I cannot follow it. Coz the device was bought some two years ago. the return process demand piurchase details which i cannot recall or find the purchase slip everything.

Now I need the firmware to flash if possible and the turotrials???

Do Step 1. Work with someone at SanDisk. I haven’t used them in quite awhile but they were fairly lenient in their need for a purchase receipt for things over a yr old. They were more concerned for happy customers.

As for when you bought it look for the oldest file you put on it.

Fixing the drive is pretty much impossible.
