I loaded several files into the drive and removed it after shutting down. Now I cannot add or delete files and the error message is that the drive is write protected and to remove the protection. How is that done when I can’t access the drive. I’ve tried reformatting and sharing the dirve, but I get the same message.
It’s broke. Return it to where you bought it or to SanDisk directly. You need an RMA for the latter.

Correct. I just hope you still have warranty on this. Shouldn’t be “write Protected Issues” have extended warranty period? Just saying.
