128gb card not read by Nikon D5600 camera

I’ve had a San Disk Extreme card in my Nikon D5600 camera for some time and had about 350 pictures on it. Suddenly, the camera started staying “Unable to access this card. Use another card.” I removed the card and used my San Disk card reader to try and access the card with my desktop, which took several tries before the card showed up as a drive. I removed all the pictures and did a long format on the card. However, the camera continues to say it cannot access the card. I did a chkdsk and the card came back as perfect, yet the camera continues to be unable to access it. Any suggestions on how to remedy this problem? I certainly don’t want to lose one of my fastest cards!
Cheers,

Camera not reading the SD card can be an issue if the card is not compatible with your camera or not inserted properly. Also, check for any physical damage or try the card on another device.
Sometimes, the issue is reformatting the card in your camera or a corruption case in the card. Check out this blog to know to fix camera not reading SD card error.
