How to rescue my USB flash drive data back?

Could you give me some suggestions to get them all back?

  1. Do NOT write anything to the flash drive.

  2. Do NOT download every undelete app that you find.  Most are free to download, free to scan for lost files, and $$$ to recover the lost files.

  3. Try one or more of the undelete utilities listed here:

What exactly did your little son format the drive for?  And what did he do with the drive after he formatted it?  If he wrote to it he could have written over your files.

  1. ALWAYS have backups of files you don’t want to loose.  On your hard drive, on a CD/DVD, on another flash drive.
