who do eye contact about getting my fuze refurbished?

my mp3 player was stepped on and the screen cracked.  I just want to get it fixed but eye’m not sure whether or not it would be cheaper to buy another one.  if anyone knows who to contact or where to send it, eye would greatly apreciate the info.

You’re asking “Who do I contact to get my LCD screen on my Fuze fixed?” And the answer is sadly, no one unless you want to try & tackle it yourself. It is cost-prohibitive for anyone to perform any repairs on these things when you can buy them for 50 bucks or so.

You might be able to find a DOA unit on E-Bay and if you’re willing to try & pry the casing apart, the LCD ribbon cable is plugged into the circuit board on the Fuze, unlike the previous models where they are soldered in and impossible to swap out. Here are some disassembly pictures.

But realistically, it’s best just to get a another complete player and be more careful with this one. :wink:

yeah, you are pretty much boned, you could try the trick I used, if your in the states go to bestbuy, get another fuze, and buy the extended warr, wait a while take the dead one back for exchange, u need to make sure its the same color and size but you could swap it out :wink: (i have zero compunction doing this to bb after they boned my mother and me on 2 laptops we bought with extended warrinty)

I’m the manager of the store you did that to, and have re-charged your credit card for the dead one you returned that you did not buy from us. We take a dim view of unscrupulous, deceptive and fraudulent practices like this.

You shouldn’t have listed your name under your profile here. It made it too easy to track you down.

(I have zero compunction doing this to ■■■■-bags who intentionally rip-off stores. Especially mine!)
