My nephews got this Sansa Clip for Christmas and they installed it one a computer of one of my sisters. A few months later, I wanted to install it in my computer so I can secretly take it as my own because the Sansa Clip is 8GB and my RCA is 2GB. When I put in the disk in my computer, my computer put an error message that there was some cyclic redundacy check thingy. When I took the disk out and looked at the bottom of it, there was a lot of scratches on it. I tried copying the files to my computer, but the installer and the Rhapsody installer couldn’t be copied because of the condition of the disk. I am unsure of where to get the installer files so I can install it in my computer. Can somebody help me where I can get the files?
There’s nothing on the disc that you absolutely NEED to use the Clip. The drivers are built into Windows (for MSC mode) or Windows Media Player (for MTP mode), and Rhapsody can be nice if you don’t mind “renting” music, but it’s not required. If you really want Rhapsody, you can download it from rhapsody.com.
And don’t steal your nephew’s Clip. Bad! Bad Uncle! (or Aunt!)

Not nessessarily. I bought a slot music for my 4 year old cousin, and he loves it but he doesnt know how to use it, so what happens is that I keep it and have loaded up the cards with some of his favorites (The Beatles, The Stones, Styx, mostly light stuff, and some kids stuff) , and when he is here (all the time it seems like) and I am home, he brings it from his toybox into my office or room, and we listen to it together. Its his but I keep it.
