WD Sync does not sync all my files!

Hi,

Mac user. The WD Sync does not sync the whole folder “my pictures”(among others). It only puts the smaller folders/files but not the larger ones. What’s going on?? Any tip?? If i check the status it shows some activity as syncing but when I log in in My Cloud the folders are empty. If log as adm, the amount of disk usage remains the same for hours. I’m very upset! It does not work flawless as a Dropbox folder. Anyone has this issue? Any third app to sync without using the poor WD software?
Thanking in advance,

Hello, what version of the Mac OS X you have installed on your computer? Are you connected wired or wireless?

Hi! Thanks for your questions.

OS El Capitan (latest update…don’t know exactly because I’m far away from computer now)

Well, I’m wireless but the WD Mirror is attached to a Time Capsule unit via Ethernet. Both are very close at about 1 meter from iMac with the AC protocol that marks 1300 Mbps.

having the same issue and using the same OS X version too (although the pics on the Mac were there before I upgraded)

WD Sync (only tried this today) did this for some but not all and no rhyme or reason why others were missed

I also went in (in I believe the correct way) to add some folders to be synced and the same happened here. I could see them on my software BUT when I went into the folders, either on my phone or using FINDER and MyCloud, all those folders were empty?

Am really frustrated as I am not that technically minded - have gone back to basics and have formatted my cloud now and will attempt to start again, but I do want to use mysync as I thought this would be the easiest way - it just seemed to be scanning the same over and over ago but then appeared to stop syncing stuff

Any thoughts??

thanks
