WD Quick View is unsupported on Win10

I was using WD Quick View with a My Passport USB external drive on Win7. WD tells me WD Quick View is unsupported on Win10. Support will not say if or not it will work. Will it work on Win10? Is there any risk in downloading/installing it on Win10?
