I have got two ‘WD My Passport’. One is working smoothly, but the other one is not recognized in neither in PC nor Mac.
After R&D on internet, I follow the instruction on the internet and uninstall the all USB (Universal Serial Bus) from Device Manager of Windows. Luckily, the unrecognized device started working. However, my happiness only last for 2-3 hours. Suddenly, it stopped working and went back to old stage as unrecognized drive.
Here unrecognized mean, the drive is not detected, even the indicator light is there (not blinking) and I can feel the motor running.
As I have another same model which is working, I don’t think it is the issue with my Mac or PC. Any suggestion.
