I’ve tried to remove the software unlocker to my external hard drive. what i did was uninstalling the driver of the hard drive at the Device Manager the it was successfully uninstalled. But now i cannot use it properly because it doesn’t open anymore like it was before. i think it has issues on the drivers? i tried updating the drivers and it tells it is up to date, has anyone have the same problem as me, any solution?

After uninstalling the hard drive software, have you reinstalled it? If not, then reinstall the software and check if it starts working fine.
sorry for late reply sir, i’d tried to reinstall the driver from the website, but i think i was only a generic driver. Because my WD is my passport 500GB way back from 2012. I have also read that software for that generation has a limited drivers, but somehow i work. But the thing is the computer read it so slowly, it take about 3-5 minutes. I don’t know what to do next after this sir, any suggestions?
