A few days ago, I tried to plug in my WD My Passport on my laptop (Toshiba Satellite a505-s6960 Windows 8) after using it on a different pc. The first problem was “The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable” and I fixed it by trying to do the “chkdsk g: /r” and after almost 12 hours of that I tried opening it and the newest problem was “G: is not accessible. Access denied.”
Can anyone please help me?

After that, if you can then see folders but still have access problems it may be necessary to also change permissions.
